Cinque Terre Village Walk is for our patrons that do not want to hike, but still want to see the beauty of the villages.
Riomaggiore
This tour begins from the train station in Riomaggiore and tours the village with an overview of the marina. Walking up above the village of Riomaggiore, we reach the castle for a wonderful view of the village below. Working our way back down so we can board the train to Manarola.
Manarola
Walking from the Manarola station, we go to the old part of the village. This is where you will find the most famous photo in Cinque Terre. To be sure, you see Cinque Terre from above. We take a bus up to Volastra, where we will walk out onto a trail. Now we bus back to Manarola for our next train stop, Vernazza.
Vernazza
This village has a wonderful marina area, with the village warping around it. There are many great photos to be taken here, plus an excellent gelato spot. To beat the foot traffic, we walk around the back of the village with its small side allies. We’ll catch the train now to Monterosso.
Monterosso
This is a beach resort village with many hotels, bright-colored beach umbrellas, and sandy beaches. Once off the train, we walk along the boardwalk to “old town” Monterosso. After a short walk in the village, we’ll take the ferry back along the coast to Riomaggiore. This Ferry ride takes us past all the villages we have visited. We will arrive back in Riomaggiore at the marina. With a short walk back to the Riomaggiore train station, we will end our day.
